In November 2015 Alessandro Tallevi’s production of Idomeneo opened the new season of La Fenice in Venice. Idomeneo was the first collaboration between the two, while the choreographer was quite familiar with the work of the rest of the creative team from previous productions.
Nikos had the chance to work in a deep way not only with the 12 extras of the production which had quite an important role in Tallevi’s staging, but also with the singer soloist, creating their characters through a very specific movement vocabulary that helped each one to go deep in their own persona. The Choir of La Fenice, a true protagonist of Idomeneo, throughout the whole production managed to express the maximum of performance with the right movement guidance and stage presence attitude.
